About Asher Taub
Hi, I am Asher Taub. I was born, raised and still live on the same block that I grew up on in the Kew Gardens section of Queens.
My father was a holocaust survivor from Hungary. He was born at the onset of World War Two and was an inmate at the tender age of five in the Nazi family work camp, Thereisenstadt. He came to the United States as a teenager. He was a factory worker until an accident forced him to retire.
My mother was born and raised in Cali, Columbia, South America. She came to the United States in 1963.
I am married to Malkee Barash, and we have five children and one granddaughter.
I graduated Cum Laude from St. John’s University Law School in 1995.
I am presently a partner in the law firm of Alatsas & Taub, P.C., specializing in personal injury.
I have been a member of the NYPD Clergy Liaison program since its inception in 1995. My duties include being the voice of the community and representing their needs and concerns to the NYPD.
My firm is the Counsel to the Kings County Republican Party.
